PUBLIC HEARING – MUNICIPAL PLAN AMENDMENT

Glovertown Town Council has adopted an amendment to its Municipal Plan and Development Regulations to recognize existing quarry operations on Angle Brook Road and allow for future quarry expansion. As shown on the map below, the amendment will rezone approximately 15.0 hectares from TOURISM COMMERCIAL to RURAL RESOURCE.

A Public Hearing to consider objections or other representations on the amendments will be held at the Glovertown Town Office at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2024. The draft amendments can be viewed on Council’s website or at the Town Office.

Anyone who wishes to comment on the amendments shall submit to the Town a written statement or email outlining their objection or other representation. If no submission is received by 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2024, the Public Hearing may be cancelled.
