Request for Quotation (RFQ) – Flower Bed/Box Maintenance Services

The Town of Glovertown is inviting quotations to provide flower bed/box maintenance services for the 2025 season. This contract includes the regular watering, weeding, and deadheading of municipal flower beds/boxes located throughout the Town.

Scope of Work:

– Watering flowers regularly, with frequency adjusted based on weather conditions
– Weeding to maintain a neat and healthy appearance
– Deadheading to encourage continuous blooming
– Reporting any issues such as plant diseases or vandalism concerns to Town staff

• – Water barrel and hose provided by the Town, must have suitable vehicle

Locations:
A full list of  locations will be provided.

Term of Contract:

Start Date: mid June 2025
End Date:  end of September  2025

Quotation Requirements:

– Detailed pricing (lump sum, including HST)
– Proof of commercial insurance (with  the Town listed as additional insured party)

Deadline for Submission:

Quotations must be submitted by 4:00PM, Friday, June 6^th, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.

Lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted.
