Public Notice – Town Quarry

TOWN OF GLOVERTOWN PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town is applying through the Department of Environment Mineral Lands Division for a quarry permit in a location it previously occupied on Angle Brook Road.

This area was recently rezoned Rural Resource with quarries as a discretionary use. Prior to the Town issuing a development permit, advertising must be carried out.

Any person, who feels they would be adversely affected should this request be approved, must express their concerns in writing, to Council on or before 3:00 pm, Monday, March 3, 2025.
