Craig Arnold

Craig Arnold was born and raised in Travtown and graduated high school at Glovertown Academy. He also graduated from post-secondary school in Gander. For most of his life he lived in Traytown but left Newfoundland and Labrador for a short period of time for work but decided to return home in 2004. Craig currently owns and operates his own business in Glovertown and is married to his wife Kim.

Councillor Arnold was elected to the Glovertown Town Council in the 2013 Municipal Election as Deputy Mayor and re-elected in 2017 and 2021 as Councillor. Craig is the Chair of the Permit/Streetlight Committee and is a member of the Public Works/Snowclearing/Road Maintenance and Construction Committee, the Economic Development/Recreation Committee, and the Human Resources Committee. He is also the Town Council’s representative on the Events Committee. Councillor Arnold has volunteered with many organizations in Glovertown throughout the years. Some of his recent organizations include being a member on the Anglican Church Vestry and assisting the Glovertown Events Committee with their activities. He was also a past trainer with the Glovertown and Area Minor Hockey Association, the Glovertown Fire Department and a treasurer with the United Church.
