Christopher Burry

Christopher Burry was born and raised in Glovertown. After graduating high school in 1996 he attended Memorial University of Newfoundland and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In 2001 he moved back to Glovertown with his wife, Stephanie, and had the privilege to raise three children here as well. Since moving back to Glovertown, Christopher had the opportunity to spend the majority of his career working for local businesses in Glovertown.

Christopher has also been a volunteer to different groups within the community. He was a Sunday School teacher and treasurer for the Glovertown Pentecostal Church, and treasurer and team manager for the Glovertown & Area Minor Hockey Association.

He is very humbled and honored to have been elected to council in 2021 and looks forward to working with the other council members and town staff to represent the needs of all tax payers. He is the chair of the Public Works Committee, and a member of the Human Resources, and Lands Committee.
